Ladybug

I created this ladybug, to try out modeling something more hard surface than my usual work, which is organic and a lot of cloth and wrinkles. It was fun to model an insect as realistic as possible, since they are so intricate and their anatomy is quite unique.This small project was also to collaborate with my friend, Roly, to create a finished character, in this case an insect, and have it fully rigged, have a short animation and rendered out. Breakdown: Modeled in Zbrush. Retopo in Zbrush and Maya. Finalizing textures and adaptations in Zbrush and Photoshop. Rig, animation and rendered by my friend and colleague Roly.
